INTERNET FRAUD
There should be a law against this. Last week we received a
e-mail from us to us, with text saying that we think our friends
should visit a web site. The only problem was that we did not
send the e-mail. Several of our friends have since said that the
same thing has happened to them. There is a company called TAF
Master. You can visit this site and register any web
address then send out e-mails from this web site.
Can you just imagine the problems this will cause. To read more
about this site visit their link at.
Also on the news last night. If you receive an e-mail from
FBI.gov do not open it. There is a virus
attached to it.
One good & free way to clean your computer it to visit
www.trendmicro.com and
take the FREE clean up test. We use this once of twice a week
along with all the rest.

COLD & FLU Season
That time of year is here again. Last week a friend asked for
My Chicken Soup Recipe, so here it & a couple more for
everybody!
My Grandma's Romanian Chicken Soup
Fill the largest soup kettle you have 2/3 full with water (you
will want left overs)
add 3 T kosher salt, 2 bay leaves, 4 garlic cloves. Now bring to
a very hard boil (the most important part for clear soup). Next
add thawed & rinsed chicken (Leg quarters are the best. You can
find them in the freezer dept in 10 lb bags) Bring the water
back up to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 2 hours. Now remove
the bay leaves & chicken (remove skin & debone. Put the meat
back in later or save for something else like chicken pasta or
chicken spread)
Back into the soup add, chopped: carrots, onions & cellery
simmer 45 minute more. Ready to serve. For ease ... cool down
soup then store in a gallon pitcher in refrigerator will last
several days.
Now for two more recipes made from the left over soup. But first
freeze some of the broth for later use. Why buy chicken stock
when it's this easy to make.
Kicked up Jewish Penicillin
Mix 4 cup chicken stock, 8 or more cloves chopped & smashed
garlic. Simmer 5 minutes. Then add the juice of 1/2 lemon & heat
1 more minute. Serve in a coffee mug. This will cure almost
anything.
Seafood Bisque
1st take the left over chicken soup & puree` everything in a
blender. In a large soup kettle add 1 T olive oil & 1 can tomato
puree`. Heat.. stiring constantly. Add the blended soup & your
favorite raw seafood. The 1lb mixed seafood bags work well as
does imitation crab sticks etc. Simmer 20 minute. Remove from
heat and add 1/2 pint heated cream. Stir & serve.
Popeye's Mushroom Soup ( without Olive Oyl)
This is Carrie's favorite. Mix 1 can cream of mushroom soup with
2 cups water & Tablespoon chopped garlic. Heat bring to a boil
strirring often. Then add 1 package thawed frozen chopped
spinach (squeezed to remove as much mosture as possible) & heat
1 more minute. Salt & Pepper to taste.
We hope you all are feeling better
soon!
