Bad Karma
Everybody has a neighbor like this.  Our neighbor across the back alley is a pushy, know it all, KKK, bully. This jerk actually had a cross burning rally in his back yard for David Duke!  He was remodeling a two story 8 unit apartment building, (without permits) when it fell down! Talk about bad Karma catching up with you!

Ronda Storms, gay community clash again

Last Edited: Friday, 06 Oct 2006, 5:55 PM EDT

A Gay rights group runs into a legal snag in the latest battle with Ronda Storms.
TAMPA - A DVD that has been months in the making documents the events that led to the ban on gay materials in Hillsborough County public libraries
It chronicles how the many in the gay community feel about it, as well as what they think of the county commissioner who pushed for it:
"Ronda Storms is using the pulpit, her position on the pulpit, to push her personal and religious beliefs and we want to open people's eyes to that," said Zeke Frede of Brandon Pride.
Storms is running for the state senate...
And activist Zeke Freed, one of the men behind the movie, is worried that, if elected, Storms will spread that same anti-gay agenda statewide:
"If she gets to the Senate she could possibly use the same tactics, the same motions and cause us more problems than she caused us locally," Frede said.
By releasing the DVD now, the producers are hoping to help defeat Storms.
But then the question becomes, by targeting a candidate in a political season, are they violating state law?
The movie's website makes clear the political motives.
But the group is not a political action committee, it's a non profit.
Ronda storms, who is also an attorney, says even in politics, there are rules.
"I'm assuming that the people who put it on will correct that and will not proceed in violation of the law, now that it's been brought to them that they're proceeding outside the law," Storms said.
She says her position on the gay displays in libraries has only become stronger.
Storms says the gay books, pamphlets and any policy that would ask county librarians to refer teens to gay websites or chat rooms is inappropriate and unsafe.
"I'm not going to stand for allowing county employees to engage in that kind of behavior just because this is a source of homosexual pride," she said
The gay activists produced the DVD on the gay book ban controversy to change minds and possibly sway an election.
But now with questions about whether it's legal, the movie may not be the final chapter.
Storms wouldn't say whether she plans to file a complaint with the state elections commission

MY CANDIDATE FOR PRESIDENT IN 2008

Here we are already discussing the future President of the United States in the Year 2008.

Well, I have my own candidate and I'm sure
that once you know who I'm voting for, you will also agree.

For those of you who would like another choice for President, I have the best solution:
It is probably time we have a woman as President. My choice, and I hope yours as well, is a very special lady who has all the answers to our problems.

PLEASE give it a thought when you have a moment....

MAXINE FOR PRESIDENT!!!

           Very eloquently put..don't you think?

Maxine on "Driver Safety"  "I can't use the cell phone in the car. I have to keep my hands free for making gestures.".......

Maxine on "Housework"   "I do my housework in the nude. It gives me an incentive to clean the mirrors as quickly as possible."

Maxine on "Lawn Care"  "The key to a nice-looking lawn is a good mower. I recommend one who is muscular and shirtless."

Maxine on "The Perfect Man"   "All I'm looking for is a guy who'll do what I want, when I want, for as long as I want, and then go away. Or wait nearby, like a Dust Buster, charged up and ready when needed."

Maxine on "Technology Revolution"  "My idea of rebooting is kicking somebody in the butt twice."

Maxine on "Aging"
"Take every birthday with a grain of salt. This works much better if the salt accompanies a Margarita."

"I'm telling you ... she's the perfect candidate."

The only two things we do with greater frequency in middle age are urinate and attend funerals .

The trouble with bucket seats is that not everybody has the same size bucket.

To err is human, to forgive - highly unlikely.

Do you realize that in about 40 years, we'll have millions of old ladies running around with tattoos and pierced navels?
