Grand Opening of G. BAR
We have been to a lot of clubs over the years, if ever there was a
perfect club G.BAR is it! You will be
overwhelmed with Class, Style & Truly Friendly Staff!! As you enter
the club you will notice that it is divided into two sections. The
first section has a friendly highteck neighborhood atmosphere with 3
huge & fun video screens, chandeliers, brick work and bar stools built
for two! The second room is the high energy dance club that is
PERFECT TOO! A large but intimate dance floor with a wonderful
stage that has a shadow screen with naughty show dancers behind it.
There are 2 caged podiums for the wild dancers, the club has the new L
E D lighting system with an everchanging light show on the bar top!
Add in black light carpet, a VIP room, crystal clear HD sound and
smart lights. Up in the DJ booth they had let loose DJ Greg
Anderson! Opening night there was a complimentary cocktail
that we had never had before...can you imagine that! It was the
"Chamm-Bull". It is a mixture of Champagne
and Red Bull and was it ever good! The crowd
was full of guests from the other clubs, organizations, and the real
mover & shakers in the community, there was even a circus clown from
Miami call Wanda there! CONGRATULATIONS to
Steve Donahue & Steven Moss, what a great asset for our
community! We highly recommend you join G.Bars
VIP list today. After all you will not want to miss anything at
G.Bar!!!! Sign up at

YBOR City is Back!
With the opening of G. Bar and Wranglers,
both GLBT 24/7 and both Gay owned and operated YBOR City
is finally a true GLBT destination again. After our first
trip to G. Bar of course we had to stop and
see our friends at Wrangler's. On a Friday
night at 11PM, Wrangler's was packed with
dancing cowboys. It has been a long time since we have seen so many
hot sexy Cowboys in one location all having a great time together. Up
in the balcony there was even a cowboy shirt vendor set up! Hint, Hint
Christmas is coming you know! After all if we can't have Rob &
Jay for the holidays, a cowboy shirt would be second best!
We had planned to stop for just 10 minutes and stayed for 2 hours, it
was just too much fun as always! Every Sunday there is also now a new
and incredible talent show with Joey Brooks, Melanie Minyon,
Crystal Chamber, Miss Ivanta Bottom & guest. Great drink
special & FREE parking don't miss it!

World AIDS Day
Dec 1st is World AIDS Day. There are many
events planned across the bay area. Here is one simple thing we can
do today.
As World AIDS Day approaches (Dec. 1), we are reminded that millions
of people need our help with the AIDS pandemic, but we often think,
"What can I do?"
Here is one simple way you can help, and it costs you nothing but a
moment and a mouse click.
Bristol Myers Squibb will donate $1 for every person who goes to their
web site and lights a candle to fight AIDS, up to a max of $100,000
(chump change for them, but we'll take it). At this point, the counter
is just over 26,000... so we need many more candles lit.
Please go to this link to light a candle... and help spread the light.

Leigh Shannon in NEW YORK CITY!
Hello To all.....
Well, I had a dam cold or whatever just when I was ready to take on
New York City! But Joey and I made it through. New York, New York,
WHAT can I say? With us being together 20 years and never really
taking a vacation, New York was a big treat for us. We had always
just went home to Kentucky to be with family. With that being
great, sometimes you have to get away. AND we are going to do it
more often. And we were also able to do some great shopping for
Ritzy Rags Wigs &
More. So everybody come in and see what we got for ya in an about a
week when everything is delivered. The hottest jewelry, purses (you
like Prada, Gucci?), 2Xist, hats and more. You will be amazed, we
were!
We hit the season just right, the temperature was perfect and we
walked so much we both lost a few pounds. One play was all we had
time for. We saw Hairspray and all I can say is WOW!
We met some exciting people. We got to do a taping of the David
Lettterman show with Helen Hunt as the guest. FUN! We
did not have time to do the Gay Bar thing. We did e-mail Angel
Sheridan and never heard back. We wanted so much to see her
show. We stayed at the Edison Towers in Times Square and it
was very nice. And the Macys windows were spectacular! Nothing
like it in the world. Yes we were two hicks that went to the big
city and had to take pictures everywhere, LOL!
So I will be sending a few parts of PICS if you want to see them.
If you don't, just delete. We are just so excited and we will be
going back in March to do more shopping for the store.
On the club news, New club in Orlando I hear will be opening later
in the spring instead of February. Cold Keg has some NEAT
guests, CD, DVD Release Parties for December, The flyer is
attached. Girls Nite Out will feature Miss Lollie,
and very special guest Miss Sammy hits the Cold Keg at the
end of the month. We are very excited about that! This Friday the
first, it will be the owner's birthday and come out and wish her the
best. She wants NO gifts or cakes, but I will take them! :)
Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and best wishes to Mark &
Carrie that everything is hopefully back to normal.
Til Next time,
Leigh
