Gypsy Productions Inc. at the Suncoast Theater will open it’s forth season with Del Shores Southern Baptist Sissies on January 19, 2007 at 8:00 P.M. Following the opening performance will be a Champagne Reception with the Director and Cast.
Southern Baptist Sissies will run thru February 11, 2007 with performances Thursday (2-4-1), Friday and Saturday evenings at 8:00 P.M. and Sunday Matinees at 1:30 P.M. Hospitality Night (for fellow artists and those in the hospitality industry that can not make a weekend show) is set for Monday, January 29, 2007 at 8:00 P.M.
Follow the journey of four young gay men in the Baptist Church, each story revealing a struggle for self-discovery. Storyteller Mark Lee Fuller (Michael Titone) tries to create a world of love and acceptance in the church and clubs of Dallas, Texas, while desperately trying to find a place to put his own pain and rage. The world Mark creates also includes two older barflies, Peanut and Odette (Mike Miller & Brick), whose banter takes the audience from hysterical laughter to tragedy and tears.
With a theme of religion clashing with sexuality the talented cast also includes Erik Nelson, Derek Baxter, Johnny Ryan, Daryl Epperly, Bonnie Agan and Peter Neil Nason.
This show contains adult themes, language and nudity.
Following the success of Del Shore’s Sordid Lives at the Suncoast Theater in 2005, advanced reservations for all performances are recommended!

T-Dance

Everybody must have been glad to have the holidays behind us! There were more stars on the dance floor than in the sky at T-dance! In the crowd we spotted our favorite adult Falcon Stars Vincent & the men of Mexico City. Bartenders from: G.Bar, Wrangler's, Radar, Georgie's & the staff of Waterside Landing (all celebrating a birthday). Just in from Thailand was international performing star Ms Couno & her entourage. Back in the Eagle were 4 famous DJ's really getting to know each other. While up in the suites were several hot Birthday Parties going on. One from Asia & Tampa and one huge party from Orlando. On the dance floor was Peter Pan. Photographers from: BUZZ Magazine, Hot Spots & Watermark. Of course in the middle of it all was Carrie, Tea Cup & Judy B. Goode! With the Iraq Escalation Imminent we would like to share with you...

"Congress must act to block Bush's escalation in Iraq. We need a responsible end to the war, not an escalation."

http://pol.moveon.org/noescalation/one_click_sign.pl?id=9668-4811781-swlIi5691uXHlW5VKLYenw

Dear MoveOn member,

It's outrageous: after the voters, the generals, and the Iraq Study Group all told the President to lead us out of Iraq, he is planning an escalation and will send more troops as soon as this month.

Congress can block an escalation but it is uncertain if they will. They need to hear from us immediately and loudly. We owe it to our troops—and the Iraqis—whose lives are on the line.

Can you sign the petition opposing an escalation in Iraq? We'll deliver your comments to your representatives by the end of the day—there's no time to waste. Click below.

After you sign, please forward this email to friends, family and colleagues—we all need to speak up together.

From Marie in South Carolina

There is a huge rock near a gravel pit on Hwy.25 in rural Iowa
For generations, kids have painted slogans, names, and obscenities
on this rock, changing its character many times.

A few months back, the rock received its latest paint job,
and since then it has been left completely undisturbed.
It's quite an impressive sight.

Be sure to scroll down and check out the multiple photos
(all angles) of the rock. It appears the flag
was draped over the rock, but it's not.
It's actually painted on the rock too.

Johnny Depp to Play Freddie Mercury in Movie

Johnny Depp to get chest wig?

Johnny Depp is in talks to star as Freddie Mercury in a film being developed by Robert de Niro's Tribeca Productions, according to The [London] Independent.

Queen guitarist Brian May confirmed on his Web site that "discussions are at an early stage."

The film would cover the life of Mercury, the former Queen front man, who was born Farrokh Bulsara in Zanzibar. Mercury wrote many of the band's hits, including "Bohemian Rhapsody," which was voted Britain's best single of all time, beating out John Lennon's "Imagine." He was known for his distinctive voice and wide vocal range.

Mercury died at age 45 in 1991 of AIDS complications, one day after announcing he had the disease. (The Advocate)
