Thousand's attended the
8th Annual Gulfport Womyn's
Fest to benefit the
Sonia Plotnick
Health Fund. The
SPHF has
contributed over $10,000 back to the community in the form of
grants. The fund is open to all women who have a financial need
for help with medical, dental or eye care costs. Over 100 vendors,
singing artists, comedians and volunteer groups had a great day in
Gulfport right on the waterfront. From the TV show

After a full day of Womyn Fest and a
night at Chiq Bar, the ladies were up
for brunch at the Suncoast Resort. The
group "Muses Three" perform during the Special Sonia
Plotnick Health Fund Benefit Brunch. What a fun way
to start a Sunday Morning!

area such high class professional shows that we believe they

Just a short hello to say My Partner, Michael
Moshier , on the right and I, are celebrating our Fourteenth
Anniversary.
We met in NY and have lived here for 7 of
those 14, and together with Romeo, our German Shepard,and our
Lovebirds, we plan to stay here for quite a long time.
That being said, I am also back in
Theatre, at Sarasota's Golden Apple Dinner Theatre's
production of "Call Me Madam".
I was going out for the role of Sally
Adams, the Ethel Merman role, but they said I wasn't butch
enough. Instead I am cast as the Secretary of State, and a
fellow named Sebastian Sebastion!!!
The show runs from April 24th until June
17th.

"Kelli's & Kevin's Mom" was at the resort all dress up in
full Red Hat Regalia. She told us the huge rings & hat came from
e-bay (obviously from a Queen) and her kids all helped with the
rest of the outfit. Even her cane had a red feather boa wrapped

St. Pete Grand Prix, one Hell of a Ride
March 30th - April 1st is the downtown
St. Pete's
Grand Prix with thousands coming from all over the
country to be spectators to this wild and loud fun racing
weekend.The race track is the downtown's streets of St.

A great Weekend with fun with the
Stevie Nicks Parties! Southern Nights on
Saturday was a ball with Page and Sassy! Nothing like
the 80s to bring fun to clubs! And Stevie's music is fun to
do. What happen those all those wonderful clothes, hair and
hats? The drugs are still around.... LOL! Also, DJSPIN
in Melbourne was burning up the turntables on Friday in
Melbourne. A lot of you have asked about the BREVARD's GOT
TALENT talent search. Yes, it will be every Friday
starting April 27th for three weeks and then the final night.
The TOP TWO from each night will compete for the grand prizes
on Friday, May 18th! The rules and info will be up on the
websites by mid week. But please call or e-mail me for more
info or if you have any other questions. Don't forget Tia
Mulan will be the special guest this Friday with me in
Melbourne.
I particularly liked the article in Watermark on the
city manager Steve Stanton of Largo who is in process
to change his gender. I have kept up with the news a bit on
this. And IF this person does not get his or her job back,
this will be a big back step for Florida! How silly! As long
as it does not affect the job performance, who are we to fire
the person. SHAME on those commissioners for being a jury
affected by beliefs, so called morals, religion and personal
attacks on this individual. I thought this is local
GOVERNMENT? Isn't there still a separation of church and
state? OH, I forgot Bush is still president. Give this
person the right to do their job. Think of this! We have
let this administration say we made mistakes on weapons of
mass destruction, leaks, misuse of money, illegal firings, the
Foley scandal, and many more! But yet these assholes are
still on payroll? So a city manager is seeking a gender
change and we fire him for that? Ridiculous! But as I always
say, we have gotten to a point that all politicians are
letting us down. It is time for a third party president I
think!
I hear that LAVA is closing? I hate to hear that.
That was a nice place to drop in. And this club will be
missed for sure in Orlando. I love the Parliament House
Resort but we need more clubs to stay open and give
Orlando more choices for the community. So with this club
closing, this is NOT a good thing.
