 Fred Phelps' Westboro Baptist Church has announced plans to picket the funeral of Reverend Jerry Falwell. They say: "WBC will preach at the memorial service of the corpulent false prophet Jerry Falwell, who spent his entire life prophesying lies and false doctrines like 'God loves everyone'. There is little doubt that Falwell split Hell wide open the instant he died. The evidence is compelling, overwhelming, and irrefragable." According to their lovely website, GodHatesAmerica.com, "1. Falwell was a true Calvinistic Baptist when he was a young preacher in Springfield, Missouri, and sold his soul to Free-Willism (Arminianism) for lucre. 2. Falwell bitterly and viciously attacked WBC because of WBC's faithful Bible preaching -- thereby committing the unpardonable sin -- otherwise known as the sin against the Holy Ghost. 3. Falwell warmly praised Christ-rejecting Jews, pedophile-condoning Catholics, money-grubbing compromisers, practicing fags like Mel White, and backsliders like Billy Graham and Robert Schuler, etc. All for lucre -- making him guilty of their sins."

A message from LCCI Events As you may already know, Tulsa, Oklahoma is celebrating its Centennial on June 15-17 by unearthing a buried 1957 Plymouth, among other activities. There is interest among LCCI members from across the country in attending this event, and many have already made plans. Classic Chassis Car Club-Dallas member Tim Bunkley has made arrangements for a gathering of club members the evening of June 15, IF there is adequate interest. The plan is to meet at Club 209 (http://www.club209tulsa.com/) following the unveiling ceremony on Friday evening. It is important to RSVP to Tim, no later than Friday, June 1, if you are interested in attending. If there are enough members interested, Club 209 will host a small reception with finger foods and a cash bar. RSVP to Tim at mailto:Scorpx5@yahoo.com no later than Friday, June 1. Tim will send either a confirmation (with additional information) or cancellation (if there is insufficient interest) on June 3 to those who respond. There are no other specific planned events for LCCI members, but there are many other things to do in Tulsa during the weekend celebration.
