Things just keep getting better in the GaYBOR District! Opening this week are Club SPIN & The Forge!   Opening this Wednesday, 11.21.07 is "The Forge"  the only Totally Gay Owned & operated LEATHER BAR  on the West Coast! Enter from the patio of "Lounge 714" and step down into the club! Meet the owners John & Michael & the leather title holders too!   Opening Sunday, 11.25.07 is "Spin Sunday's at Amphitheater"  the former Amphitheater was sold to new owners, now everybody can't wait to see the new changes.       3 Huge Fun Events Last Week!   On 11-18-07 @ 12:30AM What was that!?!?!??? Did the space shuttle fly over? Was there a train wreck? Were the pirates invading Tampa? No it was the new special effects & sound at The G. BAR One Year Anniversary Party!  The theme was from Outer Space and it was truly Out of this world. The new CO2 cooling system dropped the room temperature 20 degrees in 4 seconds! New LED lights topped off this incredible party!                         17 Year Anniversary at City Side How can it be 17 years already! It seems like yesterday when City Side  opened on Neptune! The "Art for Life" posters, the revolving liquor, the move to 'The former Jungle" & the famous back door! The one thing that hasn't changed is the Best Bartenders, Warm Hospitality, Fab Parties and Great Memories. This is truly the "Cheers" club of Tampa where everybody knows your name!  This coming Saturday is the 17 Anniversary of bartender Patrick's 21st birthday!         The Thursday Party "The Judy B Goode & Paul Thomas Show",  the Thursday night phenomena! Every Thursday night 7-10 at Rock-n-Sports in GaYBOR right on the trolley car line.  With the beautiful weather outside the doors were all open to the sidewalks. Packed with fun partying people, it looked like a gay bar at closing time only with trolley cars cruising past! Inside, singing Judy & Piano man Paul were performing to a  full house standing room only, with fans and reporters from Gazette, Watermark, Buzz & Dishing. Just then who walks into the room but  Dan aka Parthenon, the Superhero http://www.myspace.com/theheroeslair  from the TV show " Who wants to be a Superhero."   Who will be there next week?                 Where are they now? The wonderful  (#2 of 3) former show directors at the now torn down SunCoast, Miss Lakia Mondale. We are happy to report that she is doing quite fine and living in Everett, Massachusetts . During the day she is working at a pharmacy and at night is performing at Jacques!
