The over 400 attendees that gayly opened up the new watering hole were from all over the Tampa Bay area. Owners Kevin, Jeff, and Jim have loved country dancing and so did so many of there line dancing friends and this property and opportunity arose. The bar located on the corner of 8th Ave. and 17th St. ( 1 Block from MC FILM) has a big outdoor courtyard and the building was renovated into the dance floor and bar. It took a lot of work to put together the new club. Demolition, floor sanding, building a new bar, working into the we hours of the night and starting up a whole new venture. The famous country western bar, Wrangler's Bar located on 7th Ave. closed in August of 2007. Spurs will be open Thursday- Sunday with country line dance classes available and a Sunday T-Dance in the afternoons.
